HIKE again !!! Petrol and Diesel prices hiked in short span
Petrol and Diesel prices were last hiked on May 17th. Witin two weeks, once again the price was hiked. Petrol Price was hiked by Rs.2.58 per Litre and Diesel by Rs.2.26 per Litre effective from midnight. Petrol will cost Rs.65.60 per litre and Diesel will cost Rs.53.93 per Litre.
Indian Oil Corporation said in a statement, "The current level of international product prices of petrol and diesel and INR-USD (rupee-dollar) exchange rate warrant increase in price of petrol and diesel, the impact of which is being passed on to the consumers with this price revision."
