“Services of home Guards Cannot Be Ignored,” Says Anbumani

Anbumani Ramadoss has emphadata-sized that the services rendered by home Guards in tamil Nadu are invaluable and should not be neglected. He urged the state government to provide a regular pay structure and improved welfare measures for personnel serving in the home Guard force.

In a statement issued on Sunday, the leader highlighted the crucial role played by home Guards in maintaining public safety, assisting the police department, and supporting emergency operations across the state.

Demand for Time-Scale Salary

Anbumani Ramadoss said home Guards currently work under challenging conditions with limited financial benefits despite performing important duties during festivals, public gatherings, traffic regulation, disaster management, and law-and-order situations.

He stressed that they should be provided with “time-scale pay” or a regular salary system instead of receiving only daily allowances or temporary compensation.

Role of home Guards Appreciated

According to him, the contribution of home Guards became especially visible during emergency situations, including natural disasters, public health crises, and major security arrangements. He noted that their service has become an inseparable support system for the police and public administration.

“The service of home Guards in tamil Nadu cannot be ignored,” he reportedly stated while calling for policy reforms to improve their working conditions.

Call for Welfare Measures

Apart from salary reforms, he also urged the government to introduce additional welfare measures for home Guards, including:

Pension benefits

Medical insurance

Job security

Adequate training facilities

Financial assistance for families

He said such measures would boost morale and recognize the dedication of thousands of personnel serving across the state.

Appeal to tamil Nadu Government

Anbumani Ramadoss appealed to the government of tamil Nadu to take immediate steps to address the long-pending demands of home Guard personnel.

The statement has drawn attention from various sections, with many supporting the call for better recognition and benefits for those serving in the auxiliary force.
