Mohan Bhagwat Meets UP Leadership, Political Buzz Intensifies Ahead of 2027 Polls   

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat met yogi adityanath in Lucknow, triggering heightened political speculation in Uttar Pradesh.

Shortly after his meeting with the chief minister, Bhagwat also held separate meetings with both Deputy Chief Ministers — Keshav prasad Maurya and Brijesh Pathak.

The meetings with the deputy CMs took place on thursday morning and lasted around 10 minutes each. Though officially described as courtesy visits, their timing has drawn significant attention.

Bhagwat’s meeting with cm Yogi occurred on wednesday at around 8 pm at Saraswati Shishu Mandir, located within the RSS office complex in Nirala Nagar, Lucknow.

The closed-door meeting between Bhagwat and yogi adityanath lasted approximately 35 minutes and was conducted in complete privacy.

Bhagwat was on a two-day visit to Lucknow, with wednesday marking the final day of his stay in the state capital.

Political observers note that these high-level meetings come amid discussions of a possible cabinet expansion and organizational reshuffle within the Uttar Pradesh government.

Although leaders have termed the interactions as routine or courtesy meetings, the sequence of engagements has intensified political activity in the state.

Speculation has grown around the frequency of meetings between yogi adityanath and the RSS chief, especially at a time when internal political adjustments are being discussed.

Sources suggest that Bhagwat’s repeated visits to Uttar Pradesh indicate the Sangh Parivar’s increasing engagement in shaping the political roadmap for the 2027 assembly elections.

Uttar Pradesh is scheduled to go to Assembly polls next year, making current political developments highly significant.

Analysts believe the RSS may play a key strategic role in framing electoral strategies, organizational data-alignment, and leadership coordination ahead of the crucial 2027 elections.

Every time Bhagwat visits the state, the chief minister makes it a point to meet him, reinforcing perceptions of close coordination between the government and the RSS leadership.
