New Delhi: On the opening day of the Budget Session of parliament, prime minister Narendra Modi highlighted the significance of the proposed India–European Union Free Trade Agreement (EU FTA), describing it as a major opportunity for India’s youth, entrepreneurs, and manufacturing sector.Addressing the media ahead of the session, the prime minister said the FTA would open new global markets for indian products, strengthen exports, and create employment opportunities, particularly for young people. He emphadata-sized that deeper economic engagement with the european union would help indian industries become more competitive and globally integrated.PM Modi noted that the agreement would benefit key sectors such as manufacturing, MSMEs, startups, textiles, engineering goods, pharmaceuticals, and green technologies.
