2 notorious criminals of 'Chhenu Gang' arrested!
The Crime Branch of delhi police has arrested two wanted criminals of the notorious Chinu gang who were spreading terror in North east Delhi. The two criminals arrested by delhi police have been identified as sameer alias Khopad and raja alias Raza. According to delhi police, both are residents of Jafrabad, while at the time of arrest, delhi police also recovered more than a dozen iphone mobiles and a stolen scooty from them.
delhi police had received a secret tip that two criminals of Chenu Gang are present in Seelampur area, after this important information was received by delhi police, a special team was immediately formed and after that the action was carried out. The special team of delhi police laid its trap near the MCD office in Seelampur on May 21, but the criminals did not come there on time. After this, their location was tracked through electronic surveillance and late night the police surrounded and caught both of them on Asaram Marg. At first, they tried hard to hide their identity and mislead. But when they were confronted with their criminal records, both the notorious criminals confessed everything.
Conspiracy of gang war in jail
delhi Police's interrogation revealed that sameer had made a murderous attack on Suhail alias Chappal, a member of the revival gang, in Mandoli jail in january 2025. Suhail had killed Chhota Rizwan, a member of the Chhenu gang, in 2024. For which sameer and his partner Bharat Sharma tried to take revenge inside the jail.
Long history of crime
A total of 14 cases including Arms Act, robbery and attempt to murder are registered against sameer alias Khopad in different places of delhi NCR. Warrants have also been issued against him from the court, while another notorious criminal raja is wanted in five cases. And he is also a special member of the Chhenu gang. At present, both the accused are in the custody of delhi Police.
