Sub-inspector Raghav Kumar Jha, who beat up an 80-year-old woman in Rawal, has finally been punished. Arwal SP suspended the accused sub-inspector on Tuesday. The victim of the beating, Lakhaman Devi, is the mother of RJD state secretary Ramashish Ranjan and Arwal Mukhiya Sangh district president abhishek Ranjan.

Actually, on november 29, during the Khajuri PACS election in Arwal district, SI Raghav Jha, who was on duty, was accused of being one-sided. During this, there was a scuffle between the police and the father of a candidate, Ramashish Ranjan and uncle abhishek Ranjan. The same night, the police team raided the houses of the above two and during the raid, SI Raghav Jha also beat up 80-year-old Lakhaman Devi.
The entire incident of beating was captured in CCTV. A delegation of MPs and MLAs also met SP DM in protest against this incident but the police seemed to be avoiding taking action against the accused inspector. Meanwhile, Legislative Councilor kumar nagendra alias Rinku Yadav raised this matter loudly in the ongoing session of the Legislative Council.
The chief minister himself took notice of the matter
On the question of Legislative Councilor kumar nagendra alias Rinku Yadav, the chief minister himself took notice and said in response that action will definitely be taken against the guilty policeman. Meanwhile, as soon as the matter was raised in the Legislative Council, the police department came into action. Arwal SP Dr. Inamul Haq got the matter investigated by Deputy Superintendent of police Mohammad Mushir Alam and Inspector ajay Kumar Singh. SI Raghav Jha was found guilty in the investigation. After this, the SP suspended him with immediate effect.
