delhi government minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa started development work in Rajouri Garden on march 5. Their aim is to make the area clean, beautiful and modern. The works include repairing roads, waste management and increasing greenery. The minister appealed to the people to maintain cleanliness. The government will also do such work in other areas.
These will be the main development works
Many improvements will be made under the development work in Rajouri Garden area. The work of renovation of streets and rain drains started in JJ Colony Chaukhandi, B Block DDA Colony Chaukhandi, Maddi Wali Gali No. 2, vishnu Garden and N Block vishnu Garden, which will reduce the problem of waterlogging in the rainy season. At the same time, work on new pipelines of Jal Board was started in Harimandir Chand nagar, Guru Nanak Dairy and shyam Nagar Extension, due to which people will get clean water with better pressure. The renovation and beautification of ganga Ram Vatika Park will provide a better place for recreation and relaxation to the local residents. All these development works will cost more than Rs 2 crore in total.

Let us tell you that Manjinder Singh Sirsa won the recently held delhi Assembly elections 2025 as a bjp candidate from Rajouri Garden seat by a margin of 18,190 votes. He got a total of 64,132 votes, while Dhanwanti Chandela of aam aadmi party got 45,942 votes.

He said that he would pay special attention to ensuring supply of potable water to the residents of Rajouri Garden and repairing the roads.
