Delhi Police's warning against making 'reels' at polling booths...

The delhi assembly election campaign came to a halt in the national capital on monday evening. Now the delhi police and security agencies are busy preparing for peaceful polling on february 5. Meanwhile, the delhi police on wednesday issued a warning for those making social media 'reels' at polling booths during the assembly elections.

Addressing a press conference at the delhi police Headquarters on monday (February 3), Special Commissioner of police (Law and Order Zone-2) Madhup Tiwari said, "Legal action will be taken against anyone violating this rule."

No permission to carry mobile phones

Special Commissioner of police Law and Order Madhup Tiwari said, "The election commission has strict guidelines that carrying mobile phones inside the polling booth is not allowed. Its message will also be given through publicity media at every polling booth."

Those making 'reels' should stay away from the polling booth

Madhup Tiwari said that its purpose is to prevent disruptions during voting. Also, the purity of the election process has to be maintained. The police have appealed to the voters to follow the guidelines and stay away from any activity that compromises security or order at the polling stations. He said that the police will also keep an eye on social media platforms. So that it can be ascertained whether anyone is posting pictures or videos inside the polling stations. Voting for the delhi assembly elections will be held on february 5. While the counting of votes will be done on february 8, 2025.

Let us tell you that voting will be held tomorrow for the total 70 seats of delhi Assembly. The election commission, delhi police and other security agencies are all set to conduct the voting peacefully.
