Big good news for the beneficiaries of Maiya Samman Yojana!

Jharkhand chief minister Hemant Soren will transfer financial assistance of two months' installment i.e. Rs 5000-5000 to the accounts of more than 56 lakh beneficiaries under the 'Maiya Samman Yojana' yesterday on monday (6 December). The ceremony was earlier scheduled for december 28 last year, but was postponed due to national mourning over the demise of former prime minister Manmohan Singh.

A government statement said that the chief minister will distribute financial assistance among women during a grand event in Namkum, which is expected to be attended by more than three lakh beneficiaries. A JMM official said that the installments of both december and january months will be transferred simultaneously.

This scheme was started in august last year

Let us tell you that the preparations for the program in Namkum have been completed and Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri also visited the venue to review the arrangements. Launched in august last year, the scheme initially gave Rs 1,000 to women aged 18-50 years, under which about 56 lakh beneficiaries benefited. The state government had promised to increase this amount to Rs 2,500 from December.

How to check status?

To check the status of Mainiya Samman Yojana, you have to go to the official website of the scheme.

After this, you have to click on login from the main. Then login to the portal with login ID and password.

Then click on the status check option.

After this, you have to enter your beneficiary number/mobile number or Aadhaar number.

An OTP will come on your registered number, you have to enter it. After this your status will be visible on your screen.
