According to the data, 558 challans were issued for vehicles which were being driven in a drunken state. According to news agency PTI, 416 challans were issued in 2023, 318 in 2022, 25 in 2021, 19 in 2020 and 299 in 2019.
35 bike challans for triple riding
Additional Commissioner of police (Traffic Headquarters) Satyavir Katara said that a special campaign was run across delhi on Tuesday. Action was taken against a total of 4583 vehicles. These include 205 for wrong side, 35 for triple riding and 648 cases without helmet.

He said that the police issued 1698 challans for wrong parking and 106 for tinted glasses. On Tuesday, 88 teams of traffic police were deployed, which were checking for drunk driving through breath analyzer.
