Efforts of Amethi's Congress MP bore fruit
With the efforts of Methi mp Kishori Lal Sharma, a youth trapped abroad returned home safely after about four months. The family breathed a sigh of relief when the youth reached home. The youth became a victim of pigeon-flying and reached Myanmar instead of thailand, where he was held hostage and made to work like a prisoner. The youth somehow informed his family about the matter, after which the family pleaded to the mp for help.
Actually, this whole matter is of Purba village of Bhale sultan police station area, where 26-year-old Amir son of Raees became a victim of pigeon-flying and reached delhi airport about 6 months ago through a broker. From where he had to go to Thailand. From delhi he reached thailand, where he was sent to Myanmar from the airport. In Myanmar, Raees was held hostage and made to work like a prisoner. Slowly three months passed.
One day somehow Raees called his family and told them about his ordeal, after which the family was disappointed. The family handed over a letter to mp Kishori Lal Sharma requesting for help. Taking cognizance of the letter, the mp immediately spoke to the Ministry of External Affairs after which the ministry became active. With the help of thailand Myanmar Embassy, the young man was returned home safely after about four months.
The victim's mother told the pain
According to Raees's mother Zarina Bano, he was taken abroad with the promise of a salary of about 68 thousand rupees. While going, neither visa nor ticket was given to him. It was said that he would get everything at delhi airport. From delhi, Raees reached thailand where he was sent to Myanmar from the airport itself. Where he was held hostage and made to work like a prisoner. The victim's mother told that nothing was given to eat or drink there. Somehow he informed us by phone, after which we requested mp Kishori Lal Sharma for help. The mp spoke to the Ministry of External Affairs and with the help of Myanmar Embassy, he was brought back to the country.
