When will registration for Rs 1000 scheme start in Delhi?
Before the delhi Assembly elections, the aam aadmi party made a big move and announced the Mahila Samman Yojana on thursday (12 December). Under this scheme, women of delhi will be given one thousand rupees every month. Now chief minister Atishi has given a big update regarding its registration.
During the press conference, cm Atishi said, "Our opponents left no stone unturned in fulfilling this promise. All conspiracies were hatched to stop it, but we are starting it. According to the decision taken by the cabinet, women above 18 years of age who are citizens of delhi will be able to avail the benefits of this scheme. Work will be done to start the registration process. This process will start in the next 10-15 days."
These people will not get the benefit of the scheme
Giving information about this scheme, chief minister Atishi said, "Women holding government jobs, who have been MPs, MLAs or councillors, women paying income tax or women receiving any kind of pension will not be eligible for this.
'BJP created hurdles'
cm Atishi also said, "BJP alleges that the delhi government is talking about giving money before the elections. Why didn't it give it earlier? These people stopped the decision. These people created hurdles. If arvind kejriwal had not been put in jail, women would have received many installments by now."
'It is likely that it will be given before the announcement of elections'
She further said, "The passing of this scheme shows that once arvind kejriwal makes a promise, it will definitely be fulfilled. It is not yet decided when the elections will be announced, so it is likely that we will start giving it before the announcement of elections."
