Real estate giant DLF has broken all previous records of penthouse sales. The company has done this deal in Gurugram, the IT hub of the National capital Region. A DLF Camellias penthouse has been sold to a company called Info-X software Tech for Rs 190 crore. The buyer company has done this deal through its director Rishi Parti. The deal of this 16,290 square feet property has shown that the luxury real estate market is currently on the rise. Along with this, a benchmark has been set in terms of deals of high rise buildings.

The highest deal in terms of per square foot too

Real estate sector experts believe that this is the highest per square foot price ever for a high-rise apartment in India. This is Rs 1.20 lakh per square foot for super area and Rs 1.80 lakh per square foot for carpet area. This deal in Gurugram is much ahead of the properties in mumbai, because in Delhi-NCR the prices are decided on the basis of super area, while in mumbai it is decided on the basis of carpet area.

Stamp duty of Rs 13 crore paid

This property, bought by Rishi Parti, director of Info-X software Tech Private Limited, was registered on december 2. Stamp duty of Rs 13 crore was also paid for this. Earlier, three apartments in lodha Malabar, mumbai were sold for Rs 263 crore, whose price was Rs 1.40 lakh per square foot according to carpet area. This was considered the most expensive deal. This expensive deal of DLF has created a new record in the real estate sector.
