Hemant Soren instructs Police to prevent illegal drug trade in the state

Reportedly jharkhand chief minister Hemant Soren on thursday held a meeting with senior officers of the home Department and police regarding the law and order of the state, control of crimes, ban on illegal mining and a comprehensive campaign against cyber crime. He directed the officials to ensure law and order in the state as the top priority of the government. He said that any kind of negligence and indifference will not be accepted in this.

Perhaps after the meeting, cm Hemant Soren, while talking to the media, said, organized crime will stop only when the fear of strong policing is seen within the criminals. It is necessary to have fear of police among the criminals. Necessary instructions have been given to the officials regarding this. He said that the officials have presented the action and action plan being taken regarding law and order, ban on illegal mining and various types of crime control in the state through Power Point Presentation (PPT).

Moreover they have been instructed that strict action should be taken against the identified criminals under an effective strategy. The records presented by the police officers in the meeting showed that the highest number of dowry murders are happening in Palamu, Garhwa, Hazaribagh, Giridih and Dhanbad, while the highest number of normal murders have happened in Bokaro, Ranchi, Gumla and Chaibasa districts. The strategy to control these crimes was also presented in the meeting. The chief minister instructed the officers that the police should run a comprehensive special campaign to prevent illegal drug trade in the state and make people aware of the law. students studying in schools in all urban and rural areas should be informed about the harm caused by drug abuse. Only awareness will reduce drug abuse.
