40 crore devotees expected to come to Maha Kumbh!
This time around forty devotees from all over the world are expected to come to the maha Kumbh mela (Mahakumbha 2025) starting from january 13 in the Sangam city of Prayagraj. Continuous efforts are being made to save these devotees in case of stampede, drowning in the river, fire or any other disaster situation. Along with the force, the fire department and divers are being trained. The NDRF and SDRF personnel are being made aware of the conditions of the fair area.
The Uttar Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority is constantly organizing workshops. It is being told in this that first of all, any kind of disaster has to be prevented by better management, but if any disaster situation arises, then all the devotees have to be saved safely and their lives and property have to be completely protected. All new technologies including artificial intelligence have to be used extensively to keep the devotees safe.
Volunteers are being trained by organizing workshops
The Uttar Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority is organizing workshops and coordinating with different departments to train them. The authority's vice chairman, Lieutenant General Yogendra Dimri, is himself training the volunteers as well as government departments. Currently, the reality of the fair area is being made known through google Maps and video films. They are being prepared to prevent disasters according to different places and different situations. After two weeks, when the settlement begins in the fair, people associated with the government staff and volunteers will be taken to ground zero and given field training.
According to Lieutenant General Yogendra Dimri, the maha Kumbh administration has all the high-tech equipment for disaster management.
