23 proposals approved in UP cabinet meeting!

A cabinet meeting was held in Lok Bhavan on friday (22 November) under the chairmanship of Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath. During this, 23 out of a total of 24 proposals from different departments were approved. Important decisions have been taken in the meeting regarding large-scale solar energy projects and transmission lines in the Bundelkhand region. In this meeting, there is a plan to create new posts in the colleges of Uttar Pradesh. In this, there is a plan to fill the vacant posts of 71 principals in different colleges of the state. Similarly, approval has been given to create posts of 1136 assistant principals, 710 fourth class employees. Many other proposals have also been approved in this meeting held at Lok Bhavan in Lucknow. With the aim of making higher education easily available to everyone, approval was given to open a private university in Bijnor. This was being demanded for a long time.

800 MW solar plant in Chitrakoot

The cabinet approved the establishment of an 800 MW solar plant in Chitrakoot with the aim of promoting energy production in the Bundelkhand region. Currently, work is going on on 4000 MW solar power projects in Bundelkhand. Transmission line will be laid for this project at a cost of Rs 620 crore. Out of the total expenditure on the project, 204.57 crore will be borne by the Central government, 291 crore by the German institution and 123.98 crore by the Uttar Pradesh government. Mahakumbh will be organized in Prayagraj from 13 january to 26 february next year. The state government is leaving no stone unturned to make this Mahakumbh grand and divine. Under this, the cabinet approved the proposal to organize road shows in many countries to promote the Mahakumbh.

Road show for Mahakumbh

Under this, there is a plan to organize road shows for the promotion of Mahakumbh in New Delhi, Goa, dehradun and bhopal and indore cities of Madhya Pradesh. Apart from this, road shows will be organized in Odisha's capital Bhubaneswar, Bihar's capital Patna and Chandigarh, Mumbai, Trivandrum, Guwahati, Pune. Similarly, a grand road show will be organized for Mahakumbh 2025 connecting indonesia and mauritius abroad. Apart from this, road shows will also be held in Nepal, Thailand. FICCI and CII will be partners during the road show of Mahakumbh. An important decision has also been taken in the cabinet in view of the security of Mahakumbh fair and the convenience of devotees. Under this, the Uttar Pradesh government will buy 220 vehicles for Kumbh. Which includes 200 Bolero cars and 20. A total of Rs 27.48 crore will be spent on this.
