chief minister Nitish Kumar yesterday (24 November) took stock of the progress of the construction work of the Bihta-Danapur elevated road and the State Disaster Response Force, Headquarters and gave necessary instructions to the officials. During the inspection, the chief minister said that the construction work of the Bihta-Danapur elevated road should be completed quickly, this will make the movement of people more convenient and will also save their time. This path will be connected to the ROB near Danapur station. Its construction will make it easier to go to Bihta Airport.

The chief minister took stock of the progress of the construction work of the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) headquarters building being built in Dilawarpur, Bihta. During the inspection, the chief minister said that the construction work of the buildings being built in the State Disaster Response Force Headquarters campus should be completed quickly. He said that on the lines of National Disaster Response Force, State Disaster Response Force was formed in the year 2010. Earlier, the jawans of State Disaster Response Force had to go to other states for training due to lack of training centers.
The cm further said that now to solve these problems, permanent structure is being built for State Disaster Response Force. Arrangements are being made here for the accommodation of jawans and officers and other facilities so that the jawans can have convenience in performing all the tasks.

At the same time, regarding the inspection of the under-construction Bihta Danapur elevated road, the officials said that the total length of this road is 25.081 km. It is a part of Patna-Buxar 4 lane road. Four bypasses are also being constructed in this road. The first bypass is of 1.20 km near Neuraganj, the second is of 1.75 km near Panel, the third is of 1.70 km near Kanhauli, the fourth is of 0.600 km near Vishnupura.
