Setback to RJD-Congress, NDA candidates ahead

Like UP and Rajasthan, the election commission has released the trends of by-elections held on four seats in Bihar. bjp, JDU and HAM candidates are leading on all four seats. Not a single candidate from RJD, congress and other parties managed to take the lead. This situation is not considered a good sign for RJD and Congress.


Counting of votes for the by-elections held on four assembly seats in bihar is going on since 8 am on Saturday. According to the election commission website, the ruling party candidates are ahead in Tarari, Imamganj, Belaganj and Ramgarh.


By the completion of the eighth round of counting in Ramgarh, BSP's Satish Kumar Yadav was ahead of his nearest rival ashok kumar Singh of bharatiya janata party (BJP) by securing 47,005 votes. Now the bjp candidate has taken the lead on this seat.


Hindustani Awam Morcha ahead in Imamganj


After the completion of the 12th round of counting in Imamganj constituency, deepa Kumari of Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular) is ahead of her nearest rival roshan Kumar of RJD by securing 51,132 votes.


According to the election commission, bjp candidate from Tarari vishal Prashant is in first place by securing 66,865 votes in the 10th round of counting. On Belagnj seat, chief minister Nitish Kumar's party Janata Dal-United (JDU) candidate and former Legislative Councilor manorama Devi is leading with 59,946 votes after the ninth round of counting.


Voting for by-elections on these four assembly seats of bihar was held on november 13. The results of the by-elections are important for the ruling NDA, opposition grand alliance and the newly formed Jan Suraj Party. By-elections have become necessary after the current MLAs of these assembly constituencies were elected to the Lok Sabha.
