Meanwhile, ncp (SP) chief sharad pawar on monday (November 11) said that a change in government is necessary to improve the condition of the people in Maharashtra. He said that the 'India' alliance foiled PM narendra Modi's plan to change the Constitution in the lok sabha elections.

Addressing an election rally in Parola in Jalgaon district in support of the maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA), sharad pawar said, "You gave us 31 out of 48 (Lok Sabha) seats in maharashtra and Modi could not commit the sin of changing the Constitution. Modi had to form the government with the help of chandrababu naidu (who heads the TDP) and nitish kumar (JD-U chief)." He urged the people to vote for MVA candidates in next week's elections.
