Lawyers' agitation reaches 22 districts of western UP

The nature of the ongoing lawyers' agitation in ghaziabad has changed from monday (11 November). Under this, on the appeal of ghaziabad Bar Association, lawyers from 22 districts of western Uttar Pradesh will block the road from 12 noon to 2 pm. ghaziabad Bar Association will also block the road in front of the district headquarters. During this, heavy police force has been deployed on the spot in view of the lawyers' agitation.

What is the matter?

Let us tell you, on october 29 last month, there was a dispute between the lawyer and the district judge in Ghaziabad. After which the police lathicharged the lawyers. After which the lawyers got angry and they have been agitating since then. Till now, the advocates of ghaziabad Bar Association were protesting peacefully by going on strike inside the court. From monday i.e. today, the place and nature of this agitation has changed.

Will block the road from 12 to 2 pm

From monday, lawyers from 22 districts of western Uttar Pradesh blocked the road from 12 to 2 pm. During this time they will not do any work. In ghaziabad, this road block will be outside the district headquarters. Lawyers associated with the ghaziabad Bar Association are demanding the transfer of the district Judge and action against the policemen who lathi-charged.

Protests will be held in these 22 districts

Lawyers from Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, Shamli, Baghpat, Hapur, ghaziabad, gautam Buddha Nagar, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Hathras, Kasganj, Mainpuri, Amroha, Rampur, Moradabad, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Sambhal, Etah and Bijnor districts of western Uttar Pradesh are involved in the protest. Lawyers from these 22 districts of the state will block the road from 12 noon to 2 pm every day till november 16. After this, a Mahapanchayat will be held on november 16, in which lawyers from 22 districts of western Uttar Pradesh will participate. After this the further strategy will be announced.
