'Infiltrators marrying tribal daughters', said Shivraj Singh
Union minister and bjp leader Shivraj Singh Chauhan, in a rally held in jharkhand on friday (8 November), termed "state-sponsored infiltration" as a serious threat to the state. He said that "India is not a Dharamshala where anyone can come and settle". Chauhan also alleged that infiltrators are targeting tribal daughters in the state and marrying them. Due to which the social structure of the state is getting affected.
Chouhan accused the jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM)-led alliance of making infiltrators a vote bank. He said that the alliance is giving protection to these infiltrators. It is getting them included in the voter list and even issuing them aadhar cards and ration cards. Chauhan also claimed that the population of tribals in Santhal Pargana has decreased from 44 percent to 28 percent.
Chouhan promised to make a citizenship register in the future
If bjp forms the government in the future, Chouhan promised to make a citizenship register and said that all foreign intruders will be thrown out. He says that the bjp government will ensure the safety of tribals and other local people so that their land, water, and resources can be protected.
women will be given Rs 2100 per month
Shivraj also raised questions on women welfare schemes in the state and accused the JMM-led government of not implementing the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana properly. He said that if the scheme was implemented properly, women would have got pucca houses. Along with this, he promised to give Rs 2100 every month to women if bjp comes to power in the elections.
