Mumbai Police sent picture of weapon used in murder of Baba Siddique to Rajasthan Police

Meanwhile, a mumbai court on friday (25 October) extended the police remand of nine accused in the baba Siddiqui murder case till 26 October. On 12 October, mla son Zeeshan Siddiqui was shot dead outside his office in Bandra. The nine people arrested on different dates in this case were produced before Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (Esplanade Court) VR Patil on friday at the end of their initial remand. The police sought to extend their remand by three days, while the court extended the remand by one day till Saturday. The nine accused in this case are Gurmel Baljit Singh, Dharamraj Kashyap, Harish Kumar Nishad, praveen Lonkar, Nitin gautam Sapre, Sambhaji Kisan Pardhi, pradeep Dattu Thombre, chetan Dilip Pardhi and ram Phoolchand Kanaujia.

According to the police, haryana resident Singh and Uttar Pradesh resident Kashyap along with wanted accused Shivkumar gautam shot baba Siddiqui, while pune resident praveen Lonkar's brother Shubham is allegedly an associate of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. He and the other wanted accused had conspired for the murder and provided weapons to all the shooters.
