In view of the assembly elections in maharashtra, the coalition's constituents are working on a strategy to ensure their victory. There is still a deadlock on some seats in the maha Vikas Aghadi. Meanwhile, shiv sena leader sanjay raut on thursday (October 24) indicated that the allies of the maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) may exchange some seats among themselves. sanjay raut said on thursday, "Qualification and winning chances will be the main factors in choosing candidates. There may be a seat swap at one or two places. At some places, candidates have to be changed at the last moment. I don't think anything big can happen beyond this." The three parties have agreed on 85-85-85 (formula).

MVA announces to contest on 85-85 seats

After several days of deadlock, the maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA), comprising the Congress, Sharad Pawar's party NCP (SP) and uddhav Thackeray's shiv sena (Uttar Pradesh) on wednesday announced to contest on 85-85 seats for the 288-member state assembly, while discussions are still on to seal the final agreement.
