The threat of air pollution has increased significantly in Delhi-NCR. In view of this, instructions were given to implement the second stage of GRAP (GRAP Stage-2). It will be implemented from 8 am on tuesday (22 October). After its implementation, it has been said to ensure focus and targeted action to prevent air pollution.

During GRAP Stage 2, people have been asked to use public transport while reducing the use of private vehicles. Apart from this, it has been asked to avoid dust-generating construction activities from october 2024 to january 2025. It has been asked not to burn solid waste and biomass waste in the open.

Along with this, it has been said to increase cng or electric bus and metro services.
