Debate erupts over Kejriwal's new residence!!!

Sudha Subbiah

National Convenor of aam aadmi party and former chief minister of delhi arvind kejriwal vacated his government residence on friday and shifted to 5 Ferozeshah Road with his entire family. He has shifted to the residence allotted to AAP's rajya sabha mp from punjab Ashok Mittal, where he will be able to avail all the facilities available to an MP. delhi congress and bjp have attacked arvind kejriwal and aam aadmi party over this. delhi Pradesh congress Committee President Devendra Yadav took a dig at the former chief minister and said, "Arvind kejriwal, who pleaded for not taking a government bungalow, security and government staff, will move out of one glass palace and live in another government palace at 5 Ferozeshah Road in New Delhi."

Devendra Yadav said, "After resigning from the post of chief minister, aam aadmi party leaders were doing a drama of making kejriwal a god and saying that now kejriwal will live among the common people. But the truth is that his fascination for the glass palace is not going to end. kejriwal, who used to hold people's court among the people, has once again gone out of the reach of the people.

Devendra Yadav said that when aam aadmi party had the facility of government accommodation for its rajya sabha MPs, then why did he pretend to get an allotment in the name of being the head of the party. Why was politics done to confuse the people of delhi and garner their sympathy. Meanwhile, delhi BJP's media chief praveen Shankar Kapoor has written a letter to former chief minister arvind kejriwal and demanded that he burn his affidavit of 7 june 2013 in front of the media in which he had promised the people of delhi that he would never take a government bungalow, car and security. He said that arvind kejriwal actually does the exact opposite of what he resolves.

praveen Shankar Kapoor said, "When arvind kejriwal was the chief minister, it was a protocol and security concern for him to get a bungalow, security and other facilities, but today when he has stepped down from the post of chief minister and is just an MLA, his attachment to the bungalow proves his statements and the things written on the affidavit to be false. Being an MLA, taking facilities of MPs is not right in any way. An mp gets water, electricity, telephone, two staff free of cost and all those facilities which are in the name of mp Ashok Mittal will now be used by kejriwal and his family members."
