The campaigning phase for the assembly elections in haryana will end on thursday (3 October). Before that, on wednesday, leaders and candidates of all parties put in all their efforts in campaigning to ensure their victory. During this, all the leaders are seen claiming their victory in the assembly elections. Every possible effort is being made by all the parties to get the voters in their favor
Leaders, star campaigners and candidates of all the parties held rallies and public meetings at many places in the state on wednesday and appealed to the people to vote in their favor. After the election campaign ends on thursday i.e. 3 october, the candidates and their supporters can only run door-to-door campaigns.
Voting in haryana on 5 October
Voting will be held on all 90 seats of haryana assembly on 5 october, while the results will be announced on 8 October. On this day, the fate of the candidates of all the parties will be decided. This time the election campaign lasted longer. Earlier, voting was to be held on october 1, but after the election commission extended the date to october 5, all the candidates and their star campaigners got enough time to go among the people.
A total of 1028 candidates are in the fray in the haryana assembly elections this time. BJP, congress, aam aadmi party, JJP, INLD and their allies are mainly in the fray in the state. There was no coordination between the constituent parties of the india alliance, aam aadmi party (AAP) and congress, regarding the assembly elections in haryana and both the parties have contested separately. In the lok sabha elections, congress had contested the elections together with AAP.
