All parties are busy making strategies for the assembly elections in Maharashtra. The parties involved in the Mahavikas Aghadi alliance held a meeting on monday (30 September) regarding seat sharing. maharashtra NCP (SP) president Jayant Patil said that there has been a discussion about seat sharing but there is a need to discuss it further. There is a possibility of another MVA meeting on Tuesday. On the MVA meeting for the assembly elections, maharashtra NCP (SP) President Jayant Patil said, "Discussions took place for about 7 hours. There was discussion according to the constituency and further discussion is needed. If we get time tomorrow, we will sit again tomorrow."


No discussion on candidates in MVA meeting - Jayant Patil


Sharad Pawar faction leader Jayant Patil further said, "Discussions have been held about different places. There is no idea of how many places were discussed and how many were not. There was no discussion on candidates but discussions are going on about the distribution of seats, after the seat sharing, there will be discussion on candidates."


On the other hand, before the assembly elections to be held in maharashtra, the Eknath Shinde-led government has taken a big decision. The maharashtra government has given the status of 'Rajya Mata' to the cow. The state government also issued an order in this regard on Monday. In the cabinet meeting, the Eknath Shinde government decided to give the status of 'Rajya Mata' to the cow.


'Gau Mata' by maharashtra government On declaring (native cows) as 'state mother', maharashtra Congress president Nana Patole said, "Today maharashtra government has declared 'Gau Mata' as 'state mother', I welcome this move because I am a farmer and for every farmer 'Gau' is mother but this has been done as a political move before the elections.
