Mayawati may follow decades old path…

Assembly elections are to be held in Uttar Pradesh in 2027. For this, the opposition parties including the ruling party in the state have also started preparing for the elections. At the same time, the Bahujan Samaj party, which won only one seat in the 2022 elections, has also started preparing for the elections. The party wants to take all the parties along, so it is engaged in making strategies based on its old formula. At the same time, BSP, seeing itself weakening, is trying to reorganize BAMCEF.

According to lucknow University professor and Dalit thinker Ravikant, BSP's exercise of reorganizing BAMCEF is only to retain its hold on the Jatav vote bank. But in the changing times, this organization has now become a compulsion to save the existence of BSP. Seeing the weakening of its hold on the Dalit vote bank in many states including UP, BSP has remembered BAMCEF. Therefore, now the need to reorganize it is being felt.

BAMCEF no longer exists in BSP

Some officials of the party claim that BAMCEF has an organization in every district, while some are questioning its existence. According to a senior party official, BAMCEF no longer exists in BSP. In such a situation, the question is justified that how will it be reorganized after decades. Currently BAMCEF is divided into many factions. The BAMCEF which BSP calls its own, does not have any organization, it was never even registered
