The person who made the photo of Rajasthan's female mla viral with a 'deepfake' objectionable video has been arrested from Madhya Pradesh. Bharatpur police had reached madhya pradesh while investigating. The police team caught the accused suresh Lodhi. Accused suresh Lodhi is a resident of Rajgarh, Madhya Pradesh. In the month of August, the photo of independent mla from Bayana Ritu Banawat went viral on social media with an objectionable video. It has been revealed in the interrogation that suresh Lodhi had posted it on the data-facebook page to increase the number of followers. Earlier also the video of Bayana mla Ritu Banawat was edited and made viral in the month of January. After the incident, the police took action and caught the accused from Jaisalmer.
ASI Jitendra Sharma of Bayana police station said that independent mla Dr. Ritu Banawat had met ADG Crime MN Dinesh in jaipur and complained about the matter. She had told that the person running the data-facebook page "Kaha Hai Chai Wala" has made a fake post viral by putting an objectionable photo of another woman.
'Posted to increase followers'
It is written in the post, 'Message in inbox to see the full video'. She had demanded the arrest of the accused soon. ADG Crime MN Dinesh had assured the woman mla of action as soon as possible. After receiving the complaint, the matter was handed over to the cyber cell. The cyber cell team identified the person running the data-facebook page as suresh Lodhi. The accused turned out to be a resident of Rajgarh in Madhya Pradesh. Bharatpur police arrested suresh Lodhi from madhya pradesh and brought him to Rajasthan. During interrogation, it was revealed that the accused had posted the deepfake photo to increase the number of followers on the data-facebook page.
