In the background of high demand for palm oil crops all over the world, both governments are making the habit of planting this crop for telugu farmers. The center also makes various announcements and encourages palm oil farmers. Farmers are mostly cultivating this palm oil crop in Khammam, medak, and joint adilabad districts of Telangana. The telangana state government has decided to build a factory in medak district to supply plants to the farmers for palm oil cultivation.
 The works have also started to this extent. This nursery is going to start on 43 acres in Chalmeda village of Nizampet mandal. In the state of andhra pradesh, palm oil crop is cultivated mostly in the districts of uttarandhra Pradesh. In this context, the central government has recently given good news to the palm oil farmers. The import of crude palm oil has been increased completely. The central government has increased the import duty from 5.5 percent to 27.5 percent. Through this farmers have a chance to get more profit. Currently, the price of a tonne of oil is 14,392 rupees. But with the latest decision announced by the central government, there is a chance that the price of that ton will increase from 1500 rupees to 1700 rupees. That means there is a chance that the winning price will be 16,500 per tonne.
