Cyclones cross the coasts which means that people in coastal areas live with their lives in the palm of their hands. There's no telling when and what kind of havoc it will create across the coast. Such cyclones have caused severe damage to people many times so far. The Hudhud cyclone is one of the cyclones created by Wilayatandavam. Due to this storm, the entire uttarandhra region has been wiped out. Hundreds died. Crop loss in lakhs of acres. Officials estimated that the total losses were 8000 crores. One such cyclone, Hudhud, caused massive damage and loss of life in eastern india and nepal in october 2014. This cyclone formed in the andaman Sea and became a severe cyclone on october 9, 2014. On october 12, it caused severe damage near Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh.
 It has been ten years since the Hudhud cyclone was created. The whole of uttarandhra was washed away without eyes. Eight thousand crores of damage was caused by this cyclone. A total of 2000 crores has been damaged to parks, roads, and agricultural lands. Besides, commercial centers and shops were completely destroyed. APDCL power company suffered a loss of 800 to 900 crores due to the storm. Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, and srikakulam districts remained in darkness for almost 20 days due to this storm. Electric poles and wires were all cut.
A total of thousands of workers restored and re-set the works. Apart from this Visakhapatnam airport was also damaged to a large extent. Hundreds of trains have been canceled. educational institutions were closed for almost a month. At least the people had no food. The communication system is damaged. A total of hundreds of people died in this cyclone. Houses collapsed and thousands became homeless. Uttar Andhra took a long time to recover from a storm like this cyclone in 2014. It has been ten years since such a Hud Hud cyclone hit AP. Even now the people of Visakhapatnam get goosebumps just by talking about the cyclone, so we all can see how much havoc it has created.
