Congress leader Pratap Singh on alliance with AAP
In view of the assembly elections in haryana, the exercise of alliance between aam aadmi party and congress is going on. Meanwhile, leader of Opposition in punjab Pratap Singh Bajwa has reacted to the discussion of Congress-AAP alliance. He has clearly said that it is better if congress keeps distance from aam aadmi party for now. On the question of alliance with aam aadmi party in haryana, senior punjab congress leader Pratap Singh Bajwa said, "I personally believe that the more distance we keep from aam aadmi party, the better it will be for now."
He further said, "We have proved this in Punjab. They came down from 92 to 32. Despite this, their behavior is in front of you. I say that we fought elections in alliance with them in haryana, gujarat and delhi but the result was zero. We gave ticket to AAP from Kurukshetra lok sabha seat in haryana but they lost. If there was a congress candidate from here, he would have won 100 percent.
He also said, "If we had fought alone during the lok sabha elections in delhi, we would have got at least 2 to 3 seats. But now the party high command wants to keep india Block together. This is their own thinking. Their thinking is at the all india level, while our thinking is at the state level."
On the other hand, congress leader Amarinder raja said, "We fight them every day. We fight them in the assembly. You can run the country as you want, but in punjab, whatever the congress people want will happen. These people have put our people in jail. You can make whatever alliance you want in the country, nothing like this will happen in Punjab." It is worth noting that voting will be held in haryana in a single phase on october 5, while the results will be declared on october 8. The election commission had changed the voting date on august 31.
