How Chandrababu will move forward without incurring debts..!?
- The ycp government has shown 1.50 lakh crores in the interim budget.
- For seven months Rs. 3 lakh crores is a must.
- Welfare schemes beyond Jagan.
Government sources believe that the seven-month budget to be introduced by the coalition government will be around Rs.3 lakh crores. In particular, things like the female child fund and unemployment benefits should be implemented. In this background, a large-scale exercise was done to radically change the existing statistics. In the interim budget introduced by the ycp government before the general elections held this year, the budget was shown to be over 1,50,000 crore rupees. It now looks likely to double the cost over a seven-month period. Moreover, the need to allocate funds to this extent has arisen due to the need to implement key schemes and their revenue expenditure has increased. At the same time, allocations for schemes and revenue collection are becoming a big challenge for the government. Also, priority should be given to capital expenditure, projects, and the construction of roads, similar to the construction of Amaravati. Even if the Center says that it will give Rs. 15 thousand crores, it will have to increase some share of the state.
At the same time welfare schemes have to be spent. If these things are taken into consideration, the budget is estimated to be more than three lakh crore rupees. On the other hand, even if such a large amount of allocation is to be made, even if it is to be announced, the income of the state government does not seem to be big. Keeping this in mind, the government has taken steps to increase tax collection and revenue. Jagan's government, which introduced a budget of more than Rs.2 lakh crore, had to raise loans to implement welfare schemes.
Now, in the context of having to implement more welfare schemes than the jagan government, it remains to be seen how the Chandrababu government will move forward without incurring debts. Therefore steps should be taken to increase the revenue. However, it will take time for the revenue to increase. If the real estate sector picks up, then the process of registrations will pick up, and then the revenue will increase. What is the nature of the state budget in this context? It became interesting to know what kind of things would be preferred.
