The government of telangana and the people of telangana have high hopes for the Union Budget to be presented in the parliament on the 23rd of this month. telangana government has already sent central proposals to give a green signal to some new projects along with long pending projects. The state government is feeling that this time the expected amount of funds will be available from the centre. The telangana budget will be allocated in accordance with the central budget allocation. Although funds are to be allocated to the states in proportion to their population, according to the calculation, the state should get a 3% share from the centrally sponsored schemes, but the state got only 1.4%, according to the calculations of the state finance department. Last year, the telangana government expected Rs 41,529 crore as grants, but only Rs 9,729 crore was received.

Comments are expressed that funds should be allocated for the construction.
The government of telangana hopes to allocate funds to widen the hyderabad Kalvakurti highway to four lines, to get national recognition for eight roads in telangana, to allocate funds to telangana under the backward districts development scheme, to allocate funds to the cities of warangal and karimnagar under the Smart City Mission, and to finance the modernization of the state's Narcotics Bureau.
