Bhupendra Singh - Candidates will be selected on this basis…

Congress leader Bhupendra Singh Hooda said that winnability will be an important factor in the upcoming elections in Haryana. He also claimed that his party is in a strong position and is getting full support from the public.

On the selection of candidates for the assembly elections to be held in October, the former chief minister of haryana said that our criteria will remain the same, in which winnability is a major factor. Hooda, leader of opposition in haryana assembly, criticized the state's bharatiya janata party government for its alleged misgovernance and said that people have made up their mind to bring the congress to power.

Hooda told reporters here, "Their last ten years of rule will be remembered as a dark decade." haryana Pradesh congress chief Udaybhan and congress MPs Deepender Hooda and jai Prakash were also present on the occasion. Bhupendra Hooda also made it clear that the congress will not form an alliance with the aam aadmi party for the assembly elections. He said, 'As far as our alliance with AAP is concerned, it is only for the national level, not for the state level.'

Hooda's son Deepender Hooda also said on monday that the alliance between congress and AAP is limited to the lok sabha elections only. When asked about the AAP leader's claim that his party did not get enough support from the congress for the Kurukshetra seat, Hooda said that AAP state chief Sushil Gupta has clarified that it was a personal comment. In haryana, the aam aadmi party contested the Kurukshetra seat as part of the 'India' alliance but lost, while the congress contested the remaining nine seats and won five of them. Reiterating his earlier stand, bhupinder singh Hooda criticised the Nayab Singh Saini-led bjp government. He said that this government is in 'minority' and it has no moral right to remain in power.
