The havoc of heat (Bihar Weather) is not stopping in Bihar. The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for heatwave for the next four days. IMD said that heatwave conditions are likely to persist in most districts of the southern part of the state during june 10 to 14. The heat has broken records in Patna. The temperature here was recorded at 43.5 degrees Celsius on Sunday.

According to the Meteorological Department, this was the highest mercury in Patna. Earlier, the maximum temperature was recorded at 43 degrees on june 8 and before that 42.8 degrees Celsius on May 28. Severe heat wave conditions will persist in many districts including Nalanda, Banka and Sheikhpura for the next four days. The weather will also be very hot in the capital Patna and Gaya.

According to the Meteorological Center, the temperature is likely to be normal from june 15-16. The department has advised people not to go out in the afternoon for the next four days. The warning states that heatwave can cause physical stress, which can also result in death. In such a situation, the department has given some advice to avoid this heat wave.

What to do to avoid heat wave?

To avoid heatwave, avoid going out of the house between 12 noon to 3 pm.

Drink as much water as possible. Even if you are not thirsty, keep drinking water.

Wear thin and netted cotton clothes. While going out of the house, wear glasses on the eyes, cloth on the mouth and umbrella or hat.

Avoid going out of the house when the temperature is high. If necessary, finish the work before 12 noon.

Avoid alcohol, tea, coffee and carbonated soft drinks, it harms the body. Avoid eating high protein and stale food.
