Kamal Nath's son nakul Nath is at the top in the list of rich candidates. BJP's jyotiraditya scindia is at the second position. congress candidate Sanjay Sharma from Narmadapuram seat was at the third position in richness. Billionaire candidate jyotiraditya scindia won from Guna seat by a margin of 5 lakh 40 thousand 928 votes. Two other billionaire candidates nakul Nath from Chhindwara and Sanjay Sharma from Narmadapuram (Hoshangabad) seat data-faced defeat from Congress. In Kamal Nath's stronghold Chhindwara, nakul Nath was defeated by bjp candidate vivek Bunty Sahu by 1 lakh 13 thousand 618 votes. On Hoshangabad seat, former mla Sanjay Sharma was defeated by BJP's Darshan Singh by a huge margin of 4 lakh 31 thousand 696 votes.
