By the completion of the 21st round of counting, Mahesh Kashyap defeated Kawasi Lakhma by a margin of 55 thousand 245 votes. Kawasi Lakhma was present in Jagdalpur during the counting. After the announcement of the results in the evening, Kawasi Lakhma's restlessness increased. After reaching the government residence in Lalbagh, his health deteriorated further. After treatment, Kawasi Lakhma's health has improved. At present, doctors have advised Kawasi Lakhma to take complete rest.


Mahesh Kashyap won the contest by a margin of 55 thousand votes
