How does mahua moitra gain the seat in Krishnanagar?

TMC candidate mahua moitra won the Krishnanagar lok sabha constituency in West bengal by a margin of more than 57,000 votes thanks to the creation of her own electoral war room, adept campaign management, and astute promotion of the mamata banerjee government's initiatives for women. When the bjp chose to put "Rajmatha" amrita Roy against the former MP, the Krishnanagar seat became a fierce struggle, with Moitra being fielded once more by the TMC.

Moitra is well-known for her passionate speeches and outspoken criticism of the narendra modi administration. A fierce orator, Moitra gained national recognition for her strong criticism of the BJP-led nda administration while serving in Parliament. However, she became engaged in controversy after being removed from the lok sabha over claims related to the cash-for-query scam. The bjp fielded amrita Roy, the Rajmata of the Krishnanagar royal family, whose candidacy brought a touch of royalty into the electoral contest, in an attempt to consolidate the large number of Hindu votes in the constituency.

Roy, who is married to the Maharaja Krishnachandra Roy family, is regarded by the populace as the "Rani Maa," or queen Mother, and has a rich, aristocratic lineage, even though her family was historically associated with the british at the Battle of Plassey in 1757. prime minister narendra modi promoted amrita Roy, while mamata banerjee supported Moitra.

In 2019, Moitra, a former TMC district president and mla for the Karimpur assembly constituency since 2016, won the seat with 63,218 votes, or over 45% of the total. The bjp performed well in Krishnanagar South, Krishnanagar North, and Tehatta out of the seven assembly seats under this lok sabha constituency; nonetheless, Moitra prevailed because of four additional assembly segments: Palashipara, Nakashipara, Kaligunj, and Chapra.

This time around, Moitra coordinated with each booth via her war room while working with her team on the ground. Her campaign was centered around the state government's Lakshmir Bhandar program, and she began by inquiring of voters if they had gotten assistance under the program.
