Water arrangements for animals and birds in the supreme court premises

Record high temperatures are being recorded in delhi amid the scorching heat, adequate water has been arranged for birds and small animals in the supreme court premises. A court official said that Chief Justice of india DY Chandrachud directed that pots of water and grains be placed on the premises for small animals like birds and squirrels. He said that Chief Justice Chandrachud had earlier identified the places where such facilities were to be arranged. He said that the Chief Justice also directed the concerned officials to ensure a continuous supply of water and food at these places.
