At the same time, more than two lakh people have been affected by it. Due to heavy rains and landslides, many areas there have become isolated. Railway tracks have been submerged due to flood situation. people are not able to travel. In view of the situation, the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has canceled express trains, passenger and goods trains going to South assam, Tripura, Manipur and Mizoram from Tuesday. On Thursday, a part of National Highway-6 connecting assam, meghalaya and Mizoram collapsed after a landslide.

Northeastern states badly affected

This storm has led to a sudden flood situation in Assam. Thousands of people in 9 districts have been affected by this. Actually, the water flow of the Kopili river flowing in assam and meghalaya has risen above the danger mark. More than 35 thousand people in assam are forced to take shelter in relief camps. Flood situation has also arisen in Manipur. Three people have also died due to floods there. Due to this, a public holiday has been declared there on Friday. The capital Imphal has come under the grip of floods. At the same time, major incidents of landslides have occurred in Mizoram on Tuesday. Due to this, 27 people have died there. Also many people are missing. Rescue operations and relief operations are being continuously carried out by the government at these places.
