Rakesh Daulatabad, mla from Badshahpur in Gurugram district of haryana, was cremated with state honors amid a sombre atmosphere at the Swarg Ashram in Daulatabad on saturday evening. He died of a heart attack on saturday afternoon. Before the last rites, thousands of people had reached his Daulatabad residence for the last darshan. mla Rakesh Daulatabad, who won as an independent candidate from Badshahpur assembly constituency in the year 2019, suddenly suffered a heart attack at around 9 am today. Due to which he was taken to Manipal Hospital in Palam vihar for treatment. Despite the best efforts of the doctors, he could not be saved. Rakesh Daulatabad was born on 17 march 1980 in village Daulatabad to father Jile Singh and mother Roshni Devi.

Funeral with state honors

Rakesh Daulatabad contested elections from Badshahpur assembly constituency thrice in the year 2009, 2014 and 2019, in which he was elected mla last time. Today, a wave of mourning ran in the area after hearing the news of his sudden demise. The mortal remains of mla Rakesh Daulatabad were cremated with state honors at Swarga Ashram in village Daulatabad.
