Muslim women Property Law: During the hearing of a case in the supreme court, the bench has asked an important question. The court has raised some questions regarding the distribution of property among Muslims and the rights of women in the will.

A case related to distribution of property and will was being heard in the supreme Court. While hearing the case, the court has raised three questions related to the distribution of property among Muslims and the rights of women in the will. The bench of Justice CT ravikumar and Justice Rajesh Bindal had raised the important question of participation of Muslim women in property and inheritance.


The next hearing of the case will be on May 25.

During the hearing of the case, a bench of two judges in the supreme court asked whether any Muslim woman also has the right to claim the right to equality in inheritance under Article 14 and Article 15 of the Constitution. Senior advocate V. Giri has been appointed amicus curiae for this case. The next hearing of the case has been fixed for May 25.

Does a Muslim person have the right to distribute his entire property as per his will?

Does a Muslim person have the right to legally give one-third of his property to other heirs without the approval of his legal heirs?
