Thursday was the last day to withdraw nominations for the lok sabha elections in Haryana. According to haryana Chief Electoral Officer Anurag Aggarwal, now 223 candidates including 16 women are in the fray for 10 lok sabha seats in Haryana. Talking about the by-election on Karnal assembly seat, 9 candidates are contesting here. There are no women in this. Voting is to be held on all 10 lok sabha seats of haryana and Karnal assembly seat on May 25 only.

Out of 223 lok sabha seats, there are 207 male candidates. If we talk about Sonipat seat, there are 22 male candidates in the fray. There is no woman among them. There are 28 candidates in the fray for hisar seat, out of which maximum three women are contesting. Maximum 31 candidates are in the fray from Kurukshetra lok sabha seat. Out of these, there is only one female candidate. 14 candidates are contesting on Ambala seat, which includes two women candidates.

There is only one woman candidate among 19 candidates on Sirsa lok sabha seat. Two women candidates are also included among the 19 candidates on Karnal seat. Apart from this, 2 women are included among 26 candidates from rohtak lok sabha seat. Whereas on Bhiwani-Mahendragarh seat, there are 2 women candidates among 17 candidates. Talking about Gurugram lok sabha seat, there is one female candidate among 22 male candidates. There are 2 women candidates among the 24 candidates on faridabad seat.
