Senior AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj referred to lg VK Saxena as “an agent” of the ruling bharatiya janata party (BJP) in response to the proposal of an NIA probe against delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal. He asserted that there was a "big conspiracy" including LG' Saxena's actions against the AAP chairman. "LG works as a bjp agent. This is just another major plot by them, orchestrated by the bjp, against chief minister Kejriwal. The bjp is furious because it is losing all seven of Delhi's seats. Bhardwaj asserted that the bjp had planned this plot even prior to the punjab Assembly elections.

In a letter to the Ministry of home Affairs, lg VK Saxena's principal secretary accused arvind kejriwal of receiving political money from the terror group "Sikhs for Justice," which supports Khalistan. The letter purportedly originated from a complaint that Saxena's office had received, alleging that Arvind Kejriwal's party had accepted $16 million in exchange for Devinder Pal Singh Bhullar, the 1993 delhi explosion convict, being freed. According to the letter, terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun said in a video that he had possession of that the aam aadmi party had received the money between 2014 and 2022. It stated that at the Richmond Hills Gurudwara in New York, kejriwal met with Sikh officials who supported Khalistan. The AAP chairman purportedly pledged in the letter to help Bhullar get released.

According to the letter, kejriwal did write to former President pranab mukherjee to ask for Bhullar's pardon. arvind kejriwal, who has been detained since march on suspicion of participating in the liquor policy fraud, has suffered yet another setback. arvind kejriwal and other AAP officials have come under fire from the Enforcement Directorate for allegedly taking donations in the form of bribes in exchange for drafting legislation that benefits certain politicians and businesspeople. Following the recommendation of lg VK Saxena to launch a cbi investigation, the AAP-led delhi government decided to abandon the initiative. manish Sisodia, the AAP leader, has been incarcerated since february of last year on comparable charges. Another prominent member of the AAP, Sanjay Singh, was recently released on bail following more than five months in prison.
