Uddhav Thackeray's attack on bjp, 'Jana Sangh has never...'?

Shiv Sena (UBT) leader uddhav thackeray on tuesday claimed that "BJP's predecessor party Jan Sangh did not take part in the struggle for the creation of maharashtra state in the 1950s." uddhav thackeray was speaking at the joint election rally of maha Vikas Aghadi of shiv sena (UBT), congress and ncp (SP).

What did former cm thackeray say?

Uddhav thackeray said, "He was never a part of the freedom struggle. Even in the Samyukta maharashtra movement, BJP's parent party Jan Sangh never took part. My grandfather 'Prabodhankar' thackeray, my father (Bal Thackeray) And uncle Shrikant thackeray was at the forefront of that movement. He claimed that "their aim was to join the committee, demand something and leave. thackeray said that when the elections came, the Jan Sangh broke the committee over seat distribution." He alleged that since then his ill will towards maharashtra has persisted. Incidentally, thackeray was speaking a day before the Foundation Day of maharashtra to be celebrated on May 1. On prime minister Narendra Modi's jibe at ncp (SP) chief sharad pawar about a wandering soul, thackeray, apparently quoting Modi, said, "There is also a dissatisfied soul which is wandering everywhere." uddhav thackeray said, "This dissatisfied soul was fighting for himself and doing all the work for his 'friends'. This dissatisfied soul should be sensitive enough to see the difficulties of the farmers."

Thackeray also claimed that shiv sena and its founder bal thackeray had supported Modi in his difficult times, but Modi is now trying to destroy Shiv Sena. He also took a dig at bjp for campaigning for JD(S) leader Prajwal Revanna, whose name has appeared in the video clip. thackeray claimed that "the bjp wanted an absolute majority to change the Constitution, warning that if it ever tried to do so, the entire country would be enraged."
