Efforts are being made to trace the IP address of the bomb threat email, but so far it has not been possible to find out who sent the email and from where. A bomb threat email was sent to Sanskriti school in Chanakyapuri, Mother Mary school in east Delhi's Mayur Vihar, and delhi Public school in Dwarka early this morning. Since then, similar emails have been sent to nearly 100 schools claiming to have explosives on campus.

As this threatening mail came while the examination was going on in Mother Mary school today, the examinations were stopped midway as the work started. Everyone present at the school was asked to leave the premises immediately. The school premises were evacuated after the police were informed. parents were also informed, and they picked up their children from the schools. Bomb Detection Squad, Bomb Disposal Squad, and delhi Fire service officials have rushed to the schools. Some schools that were not threatened sent students home as a precaution. delhi Education minister Adishi has explained this. He also said that nothing suspicious has been detected in any school so far. He posted on his page about this, "Bomb threats were made to some schools this morning. students have been evacuated and the delhi police are checking the premises. Nothing has been found in any of the schools so far. We are in constant touch with the police and schools. We request. parents and citizens do not panic, stay with parents wherever necessary.
