The electoral landscape in Tadepalligudem, a crucial constituency in the Godavari districts, is characterized by a historical dominance of the Kapu social class in electoral outcomes. Over the years, Kapu leaders have consistently emerged victorious, regardless of the political party they represent. While the Congress, Praja Rajyam, BJP, and ycp have all had their share of wins, the telugu Desam Party's last victory in the constituency dates back to 1999.

In the last election, Minister kottu satyanarayana secured a win against the former mla Nani, who contested from the TDP.However, Bolishetti srinivas, a Kapu leader contesting from janasena as an alliance candidate this time, presents formidable competition. Supported by the tdp and BJP, Bolishetti is poised to give Kottu a tough fight.

Kottu Satyanarayana, who previously served as an mla in 2004 and returned in 2019 to become a minister, data-faces allegations of corruption and irregularities, tarnishing his image. On the other hand, Bolishetti srinivas, having previously served as the municipal chairman of Tadepalligudem, enjoys sympathy and appreciation for his past work. Additionally, his affiliation with janasena adds to his credibility.

Criticism against kottu satyanarayana for alleged inaction in constituency development contrasts with the perception of Bolishetti srinivas as a proactive and effective leader. As a result, predictions suggest that Bolishetti srinivas stands a better chance of victory in the upcoming election in Tadepalligudem, buoyed by his alliance support and favourable public perception.
