Voters Beware: Jagan's Empty Promises!!

AP cm YS Jagan's recent manifesto release has brought forth promises aimed at transforming the lives of poor and middle-class citizens. Notably, he pledged to extend the ysr Vahanamitra scheme to lorry and tipper drivers, offering accident insurance coverage of up to 10 lakh rupees. This assurance has been hailed as a significant support for these drivers.

Additionally, jagan offered incentives for buyers of autos and taxis, promising interest subsidies and an increase in ysr Vahanamitra benefits from 50,000 to 1 lakh rupees over five years. Furthermore, jagan extended support to gig sector employees, such as those working with swiggy and Zomato, ensuring that theyare covered under the ysr insurance scheme in case of accidental death. 


In education, jagan announced the adoption of the IB syllabus from class one starting in 2025, aiming to benefit students across the state. Additionally, he pledged to provide free electricity to sc and st colonies, highlighting his commitment to social welfare. Jagan's manifesto also includes the continuation of previously implemented schemes with a 95% guarantee. 


Moreover, he announced a gradual increase in pension amounts over two instalments, with increments of 250 rupees each in january 2028 and january 2029. Notably, Jagan has also raised the cash benefits provided in the Ammaodi and Rythu Bharosa schemes.


While Jagan's promise to consider implementing additional measures not included in the manifesto has been met with scepticism, his manifesto overall has been praised for its comprehensive approach to addressing various societal needs and concerns.
