Gurugram Additional Commissioner Balpreet gave orders…The salaries of Executive Engineers, Assistant Engineers and junior Engineers related to sectors under Municipal Corporation will not be released until the RWA representatives give their satisfaction letter. On Friday, Dr. Balpreet Singh, Additional Commissioner of Municipal Corporation Gurugram issued these orders. He was holding a meeting with RWA representatives and distinguished citizens of Sector-38 in his office and listening to their complaints and problems.He gave clear instructions to the officers on the spot to get all the problems resolved immediately, otherwise action would be taken against the officers. Dr. Singh assured the RWA representatives that work to solve the problems of the sector will start next week. He told the officials that till the tender related to the construction of roads is issued, they should work on making them motorable. RWA representatives said that the problem has arisen due to the road not being repaired after laying the drinking water line, which should be resolved soon.Orders were given regarding the meetingIn the meeting, discussions were held to ensure proper drinking water supply, to immediately repair leakages, to take action against illegal connections to the main drinking water line, to get sewerage manholes cleaned with jetting machines, to get the community center repaired and to release maintenance fees to RWAs, to dispose of horticultural waste. Instructions were given by the Additional Municipal Commissioner to the concerned officers to provide tender and start the work related to installation of street lights at black spot places from Monday. He clarified that if any agency is not working, then FIR related to public nuisance should be registered against it and action should also be taken to blacklist it.After the meeting, RWA representatives said that the meeting was very positive. He hopes that the work to solve the problems of the sector will start from next week. Strict instructions have been given to the officers on the spot by the Additional Municipal Commissioner.
